Most of the donor milk dispensed by Oklahoma Mothers’ Milk Bank goes to preterm or ill babies in a hospital setting. If hospital needs are met and our stock of donor milk allows, we then dispense milk to babies in the home setting that have a medical need or a case where there is not enough or any mother’s own milk.
Please know that we cannot promise that we will have milk for your baby when you apply. Please wait for our staff to email or call you with follow up questions to decide if we have milk to supply for your baby. We have limited amounts of donor milk for babies in the home with priority given to ill babies and newborns. We would like to provide milk to older, healthy babies but we may not be able to serve all of them.
